The Truth

The Truth

At first we know.

Then we think we know—--but we don't.

Then we learn that we don't know [and the angels rejoice].

And if we are blessed, we will seek

And find

That it is very good to know.

And we want to share that goodness of knowing

Because it is good to know; and good to share.

But then we get lost in the sharing---

and lose the Knowing.

Then one day, Knowing breaks in to our unknowing

And it is so good to know!

So consumingly good to know!

That we never want to lose the Knowing again.

But we know that we will.

But it doesn't matter

Because in this Knowing, we know that it is Ok to know

And Ok to not know

[As long as we know with the Knowing that is underneath and beyond the knowing and the not knowing---which is the

Knowing that can never be lost in the sharing]
