Freedom of Speech

Freedom of speech in a nation that has been careful to refrain from stern laws against slander and libel necessitates a great responsibility on the part of its citizens to be very careful about how they use that freedom. It is a principle in life that misused freedom tends to get taken away. It is pathological to demand a freedom and then use it for destructive or hateful means. And it is equally pathological to label properly used freedom as "hate."
