Scripture

Studying the Scriptures can become another distraction into darkness if it does not lead us into the infinite, liberating Love of Christ being inwardly experienced by the student. The Pharisees are an excellent example of this. They studied the Scriptures but did not find Christ, nor even recognize Him when He stood before them. When our souls are opened to the Truth of Christ and His Spirit is residing in us and His Love being manifested through us, the Scripture has served its purpose. At that time Joy and Peace begin to arise within us like a Fountain of Living Water, just as He said. We are then at one with the Living Word. The Scripture serves to connect man with God, and to refine and enhance that connection. It is wasted on all other purposes.
